Universal Genomic DNA Extraction Kit Special Instructions for Operation:

  • Isopropanol is required when extracting genomic DNA from any sample type.
  • For hair and feather shaft samples containing hair follicles, 1 M DTT is required (please prepare this in advance).
  • Lysozyme solution and related buffers are required for extracting bacterial genomic DNA.
  • 1 M NaOH is required for extracting bacterial genomic DNA from sputum samples.
  • For FFPE samples, use an environmentally friendly deparaffinization reagent (such as TIANGEN’s DPR).
