Procedure for Blood Collection:

  1. Preparation: Place the patient’s arm in a downward position and clean the venipuncture site with alcohol.
  2. Tourniquet: Apply the tourniquet to help fill the veins with blood.
  3. Needle Assembly: Remove the needle cover, assemble the needle into the holder.
  4. Venipuncture: Perform venipuncture with the arm downward, ensuring the tube stopper is on the top.
  5. Blood Collection: Push the tube onto the needle, puncturing the stopper diaphragm. As blood enters the tube, release the tourniquet.
